You can't sell the weed, you still get in trouble for that. You gotta sell a plastic baggie and give the pot away free. The scale could have been used to sell plastic bags in bunches. Rather than count each bag particularly you just weigh out a calculated amount. Sorta like when you go to an arcade and collect tickets, they don't count each ticket they simply weigh the pile and give you credit based off historical knowledge.

cranky

when ever the State gets thing organized you will still need a license to sell weed just like you need a license to sell booze. The State is being so stupid the law has been passed and they are dragging their feet and missing out on millions of dollars in tax money.
