The Wareham Free Library’s Peeps Diorama contest has concluded, with a handful of sweet displays earning the sweeter honor of taking home the trophy. 

“Very special thanks to Interim Town Clerk Lisa Johnson for overseeing the election and, as she stated, everyone was a winner and will receive a prize when they pick up their dioramas,” said the library. 

Peeps on Mars by Johnny Girvalakis won the PEEP-les Choice award. 

Jennifer Akins’ New England Aquarium was voted best adult diorama, and Nova Lomp won the Kids category with a diorama of the YMCA. 

Wareham High School 13th Grade’s diorama, Vikings Win Back to Back, was voted best group. 

The Wareham Town Treasurer eked out a victory over the Health Department for best town department with its Peeptona 500 display.
