WAREHAM – Barbara Ann (Clark) Gomes, 63, of Wareham, passed away at home on April 19, 2024, while surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Carl P. Gomes and the daughter of the late George H. Clark Jr. and Virginia J. (Thompson) Clark.

She was born in Boston and raised in Dedham. She lived in Wareham for many years.

Mrs. Gomes worked at H.L. Bouton Company in Buzzards Bay for many years. She also worked at Cumberland Farms on Main St. in Wareham.

She enjoyed crafting and cooking. Most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.  She was the best “Nana” in the world.

Survivors include her son, Jason Cromwell and his fiance, Katy Ewan of Wareham; 3 grandchildren, Jason F. Cromwell, Mia L. Cromwell and Olivia Cromwell; her sisters, Jeanie Clark of Dedham, Kimmy Meyer of Brockton and Karen Clark of Woonsocket, RI; her godson, Dean Martin of Wareham; several nephews and nieces.

Visiting hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
