Adrienne (Hebert) Houdlette, 79

Apr 28, 2024

Adrienne (Hebert) Houdlette, 79, loving wife of Michael E. Houdlette, of Wareham, MA, previously of W. Melbourne, FL, passed away peacefully, on April 25, 2024 surrounded by her extended family and devoted friends, after a brief battle with cancer.

Adrienne was born and raised, in New Bedford by her devoted parents Adrien “Cookie” and Viola (Bessette) Hebert, along with her three siblings, Jacqueline Robitaille, (husband Paul), Robin Chieppa, (husband George) and her brother Eugene (Joe) Hebert, (wife Susan). Adrienne graduated in 1962, from Saint Anthony’s Catholic High School, in New Bedford alongside her lifelong friend Terri Beaulieu, and then went on to get a hairdressing license from LeBaron School. Adrienne worked for many years with her dear friend, Sandra Vary, as a hairstylist.

Adrienne and Michael married in 1995, but had fallen in love and lived together for many years before. They blended their families and Adrienne enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners for all the kids.

In addition to her devoted husband, Adrienne leaves behind their children, Staci Potter, Michele Lefrancois and her husband Rob, Neil Potter and his partner Vincent Francisco, Ryan Potter and his wife Laura, Martha Holmes, and Michael Houdlette and his wife Kim, all of whom reside in the Wareham area.

Adrienne most enjoyed displaying her many framed pictures and snapshots of her whole family, especially her grandchildren, Isiah Gomes, Olivia Mello, Rebecca (Myers) Densberger and her husband Will, Brooke Myers, Trenton Myers and is wife Kayley, Danikka Myers, Brian Holmes, Daniel Holmes, Lain Potter, Ryland Potter and Michael Houdlette, and her two great grandchildren Holden and Nixon Myers. Throughout her home, you could spend hours looking at her extensive collection of anything and everything mouse! She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, and nephews, whose lives she was a large part of; attending as many graduations, christenings, cookouts and birthdays as she could.

Adrienne loved to care for, and have her family (and friends) travel to visit while she and Mike were in Florida. They spoiled them with Disney trips, visits to Melbourne Beach, days floating in their pool or visits to Krispy Kreme. Adrienne also enjoyed traveling, word games, and the occasional casino visit. But most of all, Adrienne passed along her

passion for bargains to her family. She loved a good deal, a coupon or an “early bird special”! Adrienne was a great cook, baker and “Jello cube maker”.
