Registration is now open for the 2024 Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. The walk is scheduled for Sunday, October 6. 

The Jimmy Fund Walk is the only organized walk permitted on the Boston Marathon course, and participants can choose between a 5K walk, a 10K walk, a half marathon walk and a marathon walk. All routes include refueling stations with refreshments throughout the course. Walkers can participate virtually as well. 

Funds raised from the Jimmy Fund Walk support all forms of adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The walk has raised over $176 million for Dana-Farber in its 35-year history, raising a record-breaking $9.4 million in 2023. 

Walkers can register as individuals or as team members or start their own team. The Jimmy Fund can help participants start a team and grow their fundraising. 

Volunteers are needed to cheer on participants, serve snacks, distribute T-shirts and more.
