Woman injured after being hit by truck in front of Wareham Dollar Tree

Photo by: Matthew Bernat Wareham first responders place a woman into an ambulance after she was hit by a truck in front of the Dollar Tree store in Cranberry Plaza.

A 68-year-old woman was taken to Rhode Island Hospital Tuesday afternoon after being hit by a truck in front of the Dollar Tree in Cranberry Plaza on Route 6 in East Wareham.

According to emergency broadcasts, the incident was reported at 1:06 p.m. after the woman was struck twice, suffering a head injury.

The victim was conscious when Wareham EMS arrived at the scene and found her bleeding from her forehead. Additional information is unavailable at this time.

Well Matt, since you took the photo, you must have been able to keep the other eye open to determine whether the vehicle(s) involved left or stayed on scene Thats a fact that won't violate anyones Constitional or Civil Rights.Did the same truck hit her twice?. Hope shes OK.
