Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Bradstreet, 84

WAREHAM – Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Bradstreet, 84, of Wareham, died Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Tobey Hospital in Wareham unexpectedly.  She was the wife of the late Peter L. Bradstreet.

Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Margaret (Hannon) Broman.  A previous resident of Raynham, she moved to Wareham in 2002.  Betty was formerly employed as an accounts receivable clerk for Baynes Electric and Corporate Software before working at the registration desk at the Gleason Family YMCA in Wareham.

Betty served on the social committee at Cranberry Grove organizing many wonderful Christmas parties. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and innumerable friends.  She also enjoyed traveling, dancing, reading, watching Hallmark movies, online word games and Facebook.

She is survived by her children, Janice Berlinsky and her husband Rod of Burillville, RI, Susan Whetstone and her husband John of Chepachet, RI, Cathie Jones and her husband Bob of Hull, Linda Tavares and her husband Mike of N. Providence and Brian Bradstreet and his wife Tracy of Attleboro; her sister, Maureen Ellis of Stoughton; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her son, the late Raymond Allaire.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Mon., April 22, 2024 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4 to 7 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tues., April 23, 2024 at St. Patrick's Church, High St., Wareham at 10 a.m.  Burial will be private.
