Taxes & Complaints Aren't Enough?

By AndJusticeForAll | May 27, 2018

The photo, self-explanatory as it may be, depicts a storm drain that has been receding since it's construction.  Six(6) plus years of telephone calls and e-mails have only resulted in the placement of many traffic cones and barrels that ultimately get stolen.  Needless to say the three(3) to four(4) inch depression, increasing in deepness with each passing year, collects debris of all kinds from even the lightest rain.  This photo was taken immediately upon the removal of said debris which is performed, by those other than Town employees, on a more than regular and unnecessary basis.  May this posting inspire a long awaited remedy.  Thank you

Is it a Town road? Dont look too bad in the picture. When I drive i stay on the portion designed for driving and not in the drainage section. Maybe that will work for you too

One has to wonder whether you leave your home at all spherebreaker as you appear to have nothing better to do than comment on every post.  The issue is a collapsing storm drain that will ultimately cause more damage and costly repairs if not attended to.  The homeowners having to maintain clear drainage deserve to be relieved of this responsibility.  Stay in your own lane you narcissist!

Clearing your leaves off of a storm drain should be your responsibility. Same goes for keeping your hydrants clear of snow. The Town is not here to cater to/your every whim and desire while you set in your house. As for my comments they only take a few moments of my time. I use that time for comments rather than figuring out ways i can have others do things for me.

Spherebreaker, every comment you have ever made is evidence to the contrary.  Your chronic complaining is nothing more than demands to have others do things for you including the use of your own tax dollar in providing Town services.  The photo clearly illustrates that tax paying home owners accept the responsibility - to a certain extent.  Should the storm drain in question not be in disrepair private party maintenance would be easier than having to use a shovel and trash bags.  Arguing just for the sake of an argument only confirms your narcissistic attributes.

Justice its not me that admitted to complaining for over 6 years with calls and emails over a minor issue with storm drain. Perhaps if the Town wasn’t dealing with you all the time they could properly fund staffing for the Municipal maintenance department to get that fixed. Maybe they could properly fund the Police department too so they can find the person stealing your barrels and cones. You might want to move sounds like lots of losers in your neighborhood, maybe you fit in there and just cant.

"properly fund staffing for the Municipal maintenance department"? properly fund the Police department"?  Sounds somewhat like "complaining" no?  A search of comments by you, which are almost daily in fact, are indicative of a very lonely and pathetic individual.  Talk about complaining?!?  Merriam-Webster defines you as:  nar·cis·sist/ˈnärsəsəst, noun: a person who has an excessive interest in and of themselves;  Traits: problem in sustaining satisfying relationships, lack of psychological awareness, difficulty with empathy, problem distinguishing the self from others, hypersensitivity to real or imagined insults, detesting those who do not admire or agree with them, bragging or over exaggerating their own importance, constant complaining without acting to produce any positive results.  Nail hit on the head!

What ever you say Justice, I give you some tips to help with your situation and you immediately attack, why? Were you bullied as a child and your still lashing out all these years later. Do tell us about your childhood, do you still hear the lambs cry Justice? I do have empathy for you, you poor sad thing. You have leaves on your drain and don’t know where your wheels go on the road. So unfortunate.

You make this way too easy spherebreaker!  If calling an "attack" a "tip" helps you with your condition then consider this help.  Do you ever read what you write or have written?  Evidently not!  Funny how the only comment on this post is from someone who can't refrain from comment either because the issue isn't happening to them or they derive a narcissistic pleasure from being a bully themselves.  By all means however please respond so this matter continues to stay fresh in the minds of those it was actually intended to reach.

There have been so many complaints about houses in residential neighborhoods with a dozen or so unregistered vehicles on the property and the town has done nothing! The corner White Pine in West Wareham looks like a junkyard! The house at the corner of Gault Rd and Main street.....same thing! I'm sure there are dozens of others. These are just two that I drive by freqeutnly. Time to step and and do something! I spoke to our Director of Inspectional services months ago and he assured me he was cracking down after the first of the year. Um.....it's almost JUNE!! How is that crackdown coming along?
