Please volunteer for our annual cleanup of Little Harbor Beach on September 16 from 10 am to noon. We will meet in the parking lot where volunteers will be supplied with bags and gloves. (Rain date is 9/17, same time.)

This Coastal Zone Management study asks us to record what we pick up. A clip board, pencil, and checklist will also be provided. Working in groups of 2-3 makes clean up and recording fun and easy. Once finished, bags will also be weighed to see how many pounds of litter and debris we collect.

This is the third year we have participated in this project. Please consider joining us as we keep our beautiful Little Harbor Beach clean!

  1. First I'd like to say thank you to all involved with dont trash Wareham.   I just find it kind of silly that we pay beach  pass fees and taxes to maintain our beaches and other town properties and yet I see nearly nothing being maintained regularly.  What's really funny  we don't have the budget to clean the beaches and the town properties but we can pay six people to go into the woods to release a fox in the wild! Don't we have a full-time animal control officer that is more than capable of handling that by herself?
