Four arrested in Wareham for breaking and entering, firearm possession

Jun 25, 2017

Wareham Police arrested four people for breaking and entering and illegal possession of firearms on Sunday morning.

According to a press release, at approximately 6 a.m., Wareham patrol officers responded to a report from a homeowner on Pires Street that unknown subjects were noticed inside the house on the home security system. There was no one home at the time of the reported incident.

Upon arrival, Sgt. Dan Henderson and Officer David Melo entered the home and heard crashing noises, then saw three males jump out a window at the rear of the house and run from the property. A female who sat in a vehicle parked near Pires Street when the officers arrived also ran from the scene.

Officers apprehended one of the men on nearby Oakdale Street as he attempted to hide a short distance from the Pires Street residence. While the male was being placed into custody, K-9 Officer Mike Phinney and his partner “Rolf” began to follow the two fleeing men, which led to the area of Narrows Restaurant.

Officer Karl Baptiste and Lt. John Walcek then learned that the two remaining male suspects were inside the restaurant.

The two male suspects ran out the back door of Narrows Restaurant but were quickly apprehended along the nearby shore by K-9 Rolf and Officer Caleb Larue.

The female suspect was apprehended a short time later while walking shoeless and disheveled on Indian Neck Road. During a search of her vehicle on Pires Street, officers discovered 2 firearms in the trunk.

The four individuals arrested, identified as Alan Tieu, 23, of Fall River, Keylin Hall, 24, of Brockto, Toan Nguyen, 25, of Dorchester and Yolanda Graustuck, 28, of Dorchester, are being held without bail at Wareham Police Department and will be arraigned on June 26 at Wareham Fourth District Court on the following charges:

Fall River, Brockton, and Dorchester. Three of the worst cities in the state and they end up here.  Wareham has certainly been attracting some gems lately.

Wareham, By , if you watch channel 5 they basically say there was something in the house these fine citizens wanted ... I wonder what that could be ?

Without generalizing, one can only assume what this mixed bag of worthlessness was looking for in a house in Oakdale.

Wareham Police, you guys are awesome!  Doesn't this get exhausting?  Catching these types on a regular basis must get old.

Unfortunately the authorities must abide by certain rules.  If not, Rolf should have forced them into the river and hoped for two accidental drownings.  Or, at the least, muddy them up, drag their faces over some oysters & barnacles, then throw them in a cell to fester for a while.

Maybe a seasonal place? Owner has a Weymouth address. Could be a rental. In any event it a 600 square foot house? What were these dirt bags expecting to find? Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Peaches You are correct , things that make you hmmmm.

Hmmmmm...seasonal place in Oakdale...why?....hmmmm, that explains the need for a high tech security system on a 600 square foot cottage. Channel 5 shows a picture of a camera on the little cottage.  Can you imagine the helpless feeling of remotely watching your home being broken into? Luckily the system paid off.  But many times, these dirt bags get away.
