Wareham Police arrested three people with outstanding warrants on June 18 and 19.

Lashii Ortiz, 23, of Onset was arrested for two warrants on June 18. Wareham Police detectives were assisted by members of the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section with his arrest.

On June 19, Casey Harris, 26, of Wareham, was arrested on three warrants. Officer Christopher Corner said he saw Harris in the passenger seat of car that pulled into the lot of Brandy Hill while on patrol. Harris fled from the car into a nearby wooded area and was found with the assistance of Officers Ryan Turner and Aaron Pacheco.

Later that day, David Fenton, 35, of Wareham was arrested by Corner. Corner said he saw Fenton while passing the Village Motel. When approached, Fenton attempted to hide inside the motel but eventually surrendered.

All of the suspects were taken to the Wareham Police headquarters where they were processed before scheduled appearances in Wareham District Court.

Village Motel & Brandy Hill...hmmmm, can you say common denominator?  I'll say it again.  If I had a magic wand or a Bulldozer, these two places would be the first to go.

I must also say that the Village Motel has not been too bad in the past.  The previous owner/manger has commented on here and it seemed as if they had good intentions.  Irregardless, people like Fenton (Fentanyl...no surprise lol)  will ruin that good reputation as fast as you can say skeezy motel!

Has Mr. Fenton been there less that 21 days?  I'm sure he's just staying there with his family while visiting Wareham's beautiful Cape Cod like attractions.

Why hasn't there been anything on the 21 day stay abuse lately?  I drive by these disgusting motels every day and I see the same trash every day.  Hanging around the doorways in stained wife-beaters.  Beautiful sights.  Enough to scare away anybody that is actually looking for a motel to stay a day or two.

I hope nobody is offended.  For those that don't know, "wife-beater" is slang for a white tank-top style tee-shirt as seen on criminal #1 in this article.  Usually filthy and worn by undesirables.  Often seen on the show Cops when the criminals are caught actually wearing a shirt.  Also often seen on the residents of Wareham's motels.
