Wareham native receives master's degree

Kassandra Leigh Peterson has received her master’s degree in molecular virology and microbiology from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Petersen received her diploma from Wareham High School in 2009, where she was valedictorian, and went on to Boston University, where she graduated cum laude in 2013.

She is the daughter of Theresa and Michael Brown of West Wareham, granddaughter of Sandra and Steven Summer of Carver and Buzzy and Betty Brown of Onset.
