A 25-year-old Wareham man was arrested for driving under the influence on Aug. 30, after leaving the scene of crash that involved three children on Route 6 in East Wareham, police said.

Zachary Perocchi of Lakeside Trailer Park faces several charges after he allegedly rear ended a Jeep Renegade with three kids and two adults inside near Sand N’ Surf at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Police said Perocchi, who was driving a red Hyundai Elantra, sped away after the crash. While both cars were heavily damaged, police reported there were no injures.

According to police, Wareham EMS watched Perocchi drive into the Lakeside Trailer Park, located 1 mile from the crash.

Police said Perocchi appeared “extremely intoxicated” and smelled of alcohol.

Perocchi faces the following charges: operating under the influence liquor, leaving the scene after causing property damage, operating to endanger, operating after license suspension and escape from a municipal lock-up facility.

We have a frequent flyer!  Good find Society.  When I looked him up I came across his Facebook Page.  Oddly enough he went to a decent tech school and then college.  At some point he  must have decided to just become a loser.

You guys are a bunch of online bullies!!!

Sorry ,  Online THUGS!!!

Posted by: Wareham By The Sea | Sep 01, 2017 13:55

Knocked, are you messing with us? This guy doesn't deserve to be bullied. That's too nice.  Bullying is something that happens to kids on a playground.  This guy needs a beating not a bullying.  Are you actually defending him? Hope not!

Knocked for six, thank you for standing up to these cyber bullies.  Same people everyday comment on here making fun, making judgments and calling people names all day long.   Nobody needs to defend people that obvisiouly have issues.  But we don't have to ridicule or demean them either.  Grow up you judgemental mean people.  Didn't your mother teach you,  IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANYTHING NICE TO SAY DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.

Wareham by the sea,  you are a very violent individual.  You should really seek some anger management counseling.

Posted by: cranky pants | Sep 02, 2017 07:39

Oh Christ's sake, quit acting like a bunch of snowflakes and grow up. He's s habitual offender that's lucky he didn't kill someone and you're all trying to give him cyber hugs ?

This is what's wrong with America, there's no public shaming, no public hangings, no repercussion for stupidness and ignorance to the law.. In fact everyone gets a prize or participation trophy.

No wonder they're taking shows like Dukes of Hazard off the air and removing historical monuments, just read some of the things people post here.. Too many sensitive do-gooders.

I'm not saying to euthanize this guy by no means, in fact it's nothing to do with him really..

It's the comments from the daisy chain that stokes my self willed riot.

I'm not perfect, and neither is anyone I know. Mistakes are made and crap happens, it's all on how you dust yourself off and make forward progression that defines who we are. Some of you readers must never make mistakes, and we all poop roses.

I can't believe what I am reading! Shirtless, trailer-park Zach needs money for bail and a lawyer plus he's behind on his rent.  Why don't you two kind souls pitch in and help this young man out in his time of need.  He hasn't had a good meal in weeks and he needs hugs too.

I do not attack other fellow commenters on here.  I do not comment on politics on here.  I am generally supportive of our town because I love Wareham and I enjoy being part of this community since 1975.  I am aware that both my vice and my MO are that I am intolerant of the steady predictable behavior of Wareham losers and the undesirables that are drawn to Wareham. That's how I feel. That doesn't make me angry or violent. I am frustrated; being facetious makes me feel better. Most of what I say is tongue-in-cheek.  I've explained this before. You two aren't the first to bring it up. Making fun of losers and bad people is what I do. If you don't like it, don't read it. That's all I can offer you. Deal?

WBTS.. Your last few sentences are what make you a cyber bullie!

Posted by: Wareham By The Sea | Sep 02, 2017 18:59

If that is how you interpret what I wrote, I cannot change the way you feel.  I'm not going to argue with you.   Like I said, I don't attack fellow commenters on here. I respect your opinion.

Worried about cyber bullying?  Hahahahaha!  Worry instead about Hyundai bullying.  Especially by a serial criminal driving at excessive speeds while dangerously intoxicated in the middle of the day.

The guy's a three-time loser within a short period of under 2-1/2 years.  He was driving on a suspended license.  He drove right into a darned Jeep that was right in front of him!  How is anyone so lacking in discernment and common sense that they'd defend this dangerous psychopath?!

Next time it could be a kid on a bike instead of three kids in a Jeep.

If it wasn't for idiots who constantly try to normalize life-threatening criminal behavior, we might be able to enjoy a pleasant society.

If he loses his trailer trying to pay his lawyer, maybe the dog park people will offer him a job as cleanup manager, and let him live in the shovel shed.

Welcome Kevin, your name looks new.  Good idea, you are going to fit right in!
