Ronald Goglick, 55

Ronald Carl Goglick, 55, of Starkville, Mississippi, died of natural causes on May 20 in Starkville. He was the son of the late John Joseph Goglick and Ellen Caroline (Rantakangas) Goglick.

Ron was born at Tobey Hospital on Sept. 11, 1961. He graduated from Wareham High School and later attended Southeastern Massachusetts University where he earned a bachelor of science degree in textile engineering. He continued his education at The Institute of Textile Technology in Charlottesville, Virginia, earning a master of science degree in textile engineering.

Ron’s work, trouble shooting processes and setting up plants, took him all over the United States, South America, Europe, Asia and China. He was a corporate engineer for Shakespeare Company and plant manager for Shakespeare in England. He was also a principle, at Fiber Science in Florida.

He is survived by his siblings: John R. Goglick and his wife Karen M. (Mosher) Goglick of Kingsport, Tennessee and Stanley A. Goglick of Yarmouth, Maine. He was the uncle of: John A. Goglick and his wife Shelly Goglick of Atlanta, Georgia and three nieces: Lisa and Erin Goglick and Lauren (Goglick) Silbergleit of New York. He was also survived by his cousins: Sally (Grassi) Davis, Jerry Wainio, Jane (Wainio) Ouellette and Karen Penti.

Ron’s graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 15, at 11 a.m. in Centre Cemetery, Tihonet Road, Wareham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. To leave a message of condolence for the family, visit Arrangements by Wareham Village Funeral Home.
