The Gatemen Hitting Clinic is for hitters who will be in the 9th grade and up in the fall of 2017 and are interested in honing their hitting skills. All major aspects of hitting will be covered including mechanics and the mental aspects of hitting. Campers will leave with a new sense of what it takes to be a hitter for the Gatemen, drills that campers can do on their own to improve their hitting skills, and plenty of repetitions to get them ready to make their next jump skills-wise. The Hitting Clinic will be run by Gatemen Manager Don Sneddon with help from the coaching staff and some Gatemen players

The Pitching/Catching Clinic will essentially be two separate camps: a pitching and a catching camp going on simultaneously and then coming together at the end. The Catchers will work on the finer points of receiving, blocking, and throwing as well as the mental aspects of the catcher position with the Gatemen catching instructor and Gatemen catchers. Pitchers will be tutored on mechanics, throwing programs, and arm care by Gatemen pitching coach Jim Lawler  as well as some Gatemen  pitchers.
