Red Ribbon Awareness Night to educate families on dangers of drugs

Oct 19, 2017

The second annual Red Ribbon Awareness Family Night will be held at the John W. Decas Elementary School on Oct. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. Red Ribbon Awareness is a national effort to keep young people off of drugs, alcohol and tobacco through education, awareness and advocacy.

Red Ribbon Awareness week is October 23 through the 31. The Family Night will be an open house style event held at the Decas Elementary School on Oct. 25 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The event is to show families the many healthy alternatives children have available to them. Interested businesses, groups, and other community resources are welcomed to join the event. There is no cost; groups need only bring a table for their displays.

Contact Deanna at dsemple@wareham.k12.ma.us or at the school, 508-291-3530 ext. 2137 with any questions.
