To the Editor:

The Onset Bay Association Beautification Committee would like to thank Ocean State Job Lot for their generous donation of Christmas wreaths for the Village of Onset.

It is through them that we met Don Cox, who is president of Cape Cod Military Volunteer Foundation. Don's job is to provide veterans with a myriad of things. Don runs Christmas parties for the children of servicemen and veterans across the state. He is in need of toys and gift cards for older children.

We have a box in the Onset Bay Association office for donations to help him. He is sending a couple of his men from Otis Air National Guard Base to Onset to help hang the Christmas wreaths on the lights.

Our thanks goes out to Ocean State Job Lot, David Sarlitto, Rich Hayes and Don Cox for their help.

Remember, any donations and gift cards can be brought to the Onset Bay Association office to help the children of veterans this holiday season.
