The Onset Bay Association received a $2,500 boost for two summer programs, the Blues Festival and Illumination Night, courtesy of Eastern Bank.

Onset Bay Association President Kat Jones accepted the donation from the bank’s East Wareham branch manager, Amanda Foley on April 24.

The money was donated from the bank’s Charitable Foundation.

According to bank officials, 10 percent of Eastern Bank’s net income is donated to nonprofit foundations every year.

The Onset Bay Association has been receiving the donation for more than 10 years, said Jones.

Of the funds, $1,500 will go toward the Blues Festival, set for Saturday, Aug. 4. Tickets are on sale now for $25. For more information, email onsetvillage@gmail.com.

The remaining money will pay for Illumination Night flares. Illumination Night is set for Aug. 18 starting at 7:30 p.m. at Onset Beach
