Besse Park will be much more colorful this spring, thanks to a generous donation and the efforts of students involved with the Best Buddies program.

On Tuesday afternoon, students in the program, which fosters friendships and provides opportunities for people with developmental disabilities, planted 550 daffodil bulbs in one corner of the park. The bulbs were donated anonymously for the project.

Thank you Best Buddies for helping to make Wareham beautiful! The Best Buddies also participate every year in our annual town-wide, spring cleanup. A great group of caring people!
