Girls' ice hockey team ends state championship run in first round

The Bourne, Mashpee, Wareham, ORR girls' ice hockey team ended its run for the state championship on Saturday, March 3, losing to Austin Prep in the first round of the division championship.

The team finishes with an overall record of 14-6-2, "the best in program history," according to Head Coach Kristyn Alexander. She singled out goalie Meghan Nolan for making 51 saves during the game, and thanked team seniors Carly LaCasse, Leah Hidenfelter and Grace Dufromont for an excellent season.
