Members of the Wareham Gatemen spent time Tuesday morning chatting about life, family, and baseball with residents of Keystone Place at Buzzards Bay, a senior community.

Pitchers Franklin German, Joey Matulovich, Fitzpatrick Stadler, and Outfielder Luke Bonfield shared their goals outside of baseball, favorite parts of playing in the Cape Cod league, and about where they are from with the seniors at Keystone Place.

The players enjoyed getting to know the residents, many of whom are big fans of the Cape Cod Baseball League and have made their way out to some games this season.

The residents were full of questions regarding what different pitches entail in speed and grip of the ball, competition within the league, and what the players thought of Massachusetts.

The Wareham Gatemen organization is committed to serving the greater Wareham community through volunteering and interacting with its members.
