WAREHAM – Today’s scheduled playoff contest between the Wareham Gatemen and Cotuit Kettleers has been rained out and will be made up tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. at Spillane Field.

The Gatemen were set to open postseason play today versus the Cotuit Kettleers, a team they went 3-1-2 against during the regular season.

Wareham won the West Division for the first time since 2001 and as a result, they have home field advantage for their series with the Kettleers.

Cotuit is the number four seed in the West Division as they enter the playoffs with 48 points. The Kettleers went 22-18-4 this summer and have won seven of their last 10 games.

RHP Ryan Garcia is the scheduled starter for tomorrow night’s game. Garcia went 2-0 this summer with a 1.28 ERA and was a member of the All-Star team.

The Gatemen organization would like to encourage all to come out tomorrow night and support the club!
