Coffee shop organizes fundraiser for veteran suicide awareness July 22

Jul 18, 2017

Dog Days Coffee in Onset will host a 22KILL fundraiser on July 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for veteran suicide awareness.

Funds raised through merchandise sales and donations at the shop, located at 2 W Central Ave. in Onset, will be used to support organizations that offer mental health treatment and counseling for veterans and their families.

Dog Days Coffee is owned by military veterans and held a fundraiser for 22KILL in June, which raised more than $1,000 for the organization.

22KILL's mission is to bridge the gap between veterans and civilians and provide a supportive community. They work to raise awareness and educate the public on mental health issues.
