The Bourne-Wareham Art Association will present its art achievement award again this year. 

Graduating seniors from the Buzzards Bay region who plan to pursue a career in visual art are eligible and encouraged to apply for the award. The monetary award, usually $500 to $1,000, is provided to the winner or winners after they forward evidence of a first semester passing grade to the association’s president. 

The cutoff date to submit application forms is Wednesday, April 17. To obtain a copy of the form, contact pattywhiteart@aol.com with ‘BWAA 2024 Art Award Form Request’ in the email subject line. 

Participant portfolio presentations will be Saturday, April 20 at 12 p.m. at the Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road, Wareham. Parents, teachers and counselors are welcome to attend the student presentations.
