The Mystery  Book Club at the Wareham Free Library will next meet on March 19, 2024, to discuss ‘Consigned to Death’ by Jane Cleland. 

‘Consigned to Death’ is the first of the Josie Prescott Antiques Mysteries, set in New Hampshire. In the novel, Josie Prescott leaves a high-paying New York auction house job and her boyfriend to live on the New Hampshire coast with her own auction business. Her fresh start is disrupted when she gets mixed up in murder, and the “supremely eligible but emotionally distant” police chief suspects her of the crime, according to the book’s publisher summary. 

Author Jane Cleland has agreed to appear at the discussion via Zoom.
