Thirty-one students from Minot Forest and Decas Elementary took to the stage for the first talent show held during the Parent Teacher Association's Family Fun Night on Friday.

A pint-sized Michael Jackson impersonator, pianist, budding karate expert and Irish step dancer were among the performers.

The talent show was added to the festivities that make up the Parent Teacher Association’s 3rd annual Family Fun Night.

“This is our way of giving back and saying ‘thank you’ to everyone at the end of the year,” said the event Chair Maritta Milne.

In addition to the talent show, the night included a free raffle with prizes donated by local businesses, a DJ and dancing in the gymnasium and refreshments.
