Vikings win 38-21 against Nauset

After being down 7-0 at the end of the first quarter against Nauset Regional High School, the Wareham Vikings had a decisive second quarter with four touchdowns from junior Issac Nascimento and one from senior James Thomas.

Senior running back Jordan Phillips scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter, and the Vikings made the two-point conversion.

Nauset didn’t threaten Wareham for the remainder of the game as the Vikings went onto a 38-21 win at home on Friday.

The team improved its record to 3-2 for the season with the win.

On Oct. 14, the Vikings will play Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech at 7 p.m. at GNB Voc-Tech.
