Ladies of Laughter on Oct. 15

On Saturday, Oct. 15, Impresario Carole Nelson Salerno will present Carolees Comedy Corner’s Ladies of Laughter at Buzzards Play Productions, located at 3065 Cranberry Highway.

That night four funny ladies will take the stage: Linda Belt, Amy Tee, Bethany Van Delft and Andrea Henry.

Doors will open at 8 p.m. and the show will begin at 9 p.m.

Linda Belt has performed in Atlantic City, New York, Las Vegas, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines theater venues throughout the country, comedy festivals in the U.S., including Boston, Detroit, Asheville and Canada, including the Great Canadian Laugh Off. She performs for many private and corporate events. She has appeared on affiliates of NBC, ABC and PBS as well as having her performance taped for "Laughs,” Fox TV.

Amy Tee presents chemical-free comedy. She brings dry wit to her experiences with alcoholism, bi-polar disorder and on the road to recovery. Tee is an official IOOV (In Our Own Voice) presenter for National Alliance on Mental Illness and certified peer specialist. She uses her comedy act to serve as a mental wellness advocate. Tee is a regular performer at the Boston Comedy Festival, and is also featured on Sirius XM Satellite Radio and LOGO television network.

Andrea Henry’s stand-up credits include Last Comic Standing, Nickelodeon’s Search for America’s Funniest Mom, Comic in Residence at The Comedy Studio, and Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh Off. She is a member of the Fashion Police for Us Weekly and is the co-author of “Real Kids Jokes by Real Stand-Up Comics.” She is a founding member/producer of "ColorStruck: Women of Color in Comedy” and a core member of the touring show “5 Funny Females.” She performs regularly at The Boston Comedy Festival and Women in Comedy.
