Beekeeping and Horticulture Program

WAREHAM GARDEN CLUB MARCH MEETING

The regular monthly meeting will be held Thursday, March 8th, 2012, at the Fellowship Hall, First Congregational Church on Gibbs Avenue at 9:30 a.m.  Following the business meeting, horticulture will be presented. This month’s topic is “Houseplants”. The individual classes are Orchids, any blooming houseplant, any early spring blooms or any specimen grown by exhibitor.  At the conclusion of the horticulture presentation, this month’s program “Beekeeping” will be presented by Jeannine Doyle, environmentalist, bee-keeper and organic gardener. Jeannine promises to deliver a lighthearted, fact filled program on bee keeping. Guests are welcome to attend this program at no charge.

Garden Club Members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the monthly meetings which will be donated to a local food pantry.
