7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

After a short holiday season hiatus, the Wareham 4th Saturday Contra Dance is back and will be held this Saturday, January 28th from 6:30 to 10:00 PM at the Wareham Boys & Girls Club. New England Contra Dance luminary Paul Wilde will lead the dance with his Caller stylings, Amy Larkin will be on fiddle and Johnathan Larkin on strings & things with guest musician John Peck on piano & harmonica.

Each Contra Dance has a "caller" who instructs the dancers which step will come next so it is fun for experts and beginners alike. Arrive at 6:30 PM for some free instruction if you like; the dance starts at 7:00 PM.

Bring your friends and family and join in the fun. We offer light refreshments. Feel free to bring a favorite dish to share if you like.

Suggested donation at the door is $8.00 for adults, $6.00 for students with ID and seniors. The purchase of your first ticket this year will include a membership to the Cultural Connection. Stay connected to all the fun in Onset and Wareham  in 2017 (be among the first to get our soon-to-be-released smart phone app!)

Support the arts and come to the dance where there is always live music and good friends! Proceeds from this event go to the creation, upgrade or repair of cultural assets in Greater Wareham.

The Boys & Girls Club is located at 13 Highland Ave. in Onset/Wareham, MA at the corner of Highland Ave. and Eleventh St.
