Highlighting local art
Arts at Stone Church, a program at First Congregational Church at 11 Gibbs Avenue designed to highlight South Coast art, at “Stone Church Café” opens in the church’s Groezinger Room at 6:30 with free food and free entertainment — though donations are welcomed.

Wednesday, March 13

Space science safety
Wareham High School will give a talk about the upcoming solar eclipse, to occur on Monday, April 8. The talk will occur at 6:30 p.m. at the Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road.
Navarro will explain the hows and whys of an eclipse and how to safely view it. Attendees will also receive a pair of solar glasses to use for the April 8 eclipse.

Thursday, March 14

A spring concert
The music students of Wareham Middle School will have performances at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The show includes ensembles from the fifth, sixth and seventh grade bands, the jazz band and the middle school chorus.
Tickets go on sale March 8 and can be purchased through an online, starting at $5.

Networking opportunities
The Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business After Hours event at Cape Cod 5, 10 Rosebrook Place, Wareham. To register, visit capecodcanalchamber.org.
