On Wednesday, March 13, Wareham High School science teacher and astronomy club advisor Mr. Navarro will give a talk about the upcoming solar eclipse, to occur on Monday, April 8. The talk will occur at 6:30 p.m. at the Wareham Free Library, 59 Marion Road. 

Navarro will explain the hows and whys of an eclipse and how to safely view it. Attendees will also receive a pair of solar glasses to use for the April 8 eclipse. 

The program is free and no registration is required. As a bonus, the astronomy club will also be setting up their telescope each Wednesday in March after school to check out any solar activity taking place, weather permitting.
